Jakub Rozycki is the proud winner of the virtual version of the last EURO NITRO SERIES at Fiorano this past weekend, beating 9x IFMAR World Champion Lamberto Collari by just 0.006 sec after 45 minutes of racing. Never ever has the difference between the real and the virtual race, on the same track been that close.

Like Lamberto Collari, Jakub Rozycki from Poland drove a perfect race, with just 1 serious mistake which cost him around 3 seconds. VRC World Champion Martin Wollanka showed up for the first time again after his debut at the 2014 IFMAR Buggy Worlds in Sicily, and finished a strong 2nd just 4 seconds down on the surprisingly fast Pole. Good old Giorgio Mingotti finished 3rd 2 laps down on the winner.

VRC goes too far with their comparison to real racing with VRC Pro being a great and pretty realistic sim though. Edited by author: 23.10.2014 18:32:11 GMT we are realistic enough to know that a difference of 0.006 is pure coincidence. But what the video does show is that the cars behave very very similar. I have created another comparison video which has a slow motion part in reverse. We have used this method to study slip angles of the car as there is no scientific data on this. In reverse slo-mo you can really see this well. And also here you can see that it is very close. Pretentious? We should be after 14 years of developing the physics for VRC Pro. I don't think anyone understand it's complexity. It's easier to make a real car, the laws of physics will dictate whether it will work or not. Alex Guillot Double VRC Centurion	23.10.2014 [23:06] @Stephan: times are pretty close 45mn race, time lap track are pretty close refuel are pretty close JAKUB was at real Event and say it is exactly same track sensation, i believe him and his time is same vrc/real the big diff is no crash because run alone to my opinion and broken engine/car if happens.
