Congratulations to Hermann Raith from Stuttgart, Germany, to be the first VRC Pro racer to have reached 10.000 km. We caught his VRC Pro account at exactly this distance. This is a massive and incredible distance, like from London to Tokyo.
Raith has driven exclusively with the 1:8 nitro chassis (75%) and the 1:8 Spec chassis (25%). He drove some 5300 km on the 3 Speedway versions (Oval course, Short course and Long Course), 1600km at Luxembourg, 1180km at Messina and 680km at Lostallo. Hermann Raith is the number 8 ranked racer in 1:8 nitro modified (topped by the young Ukrainian driver Alexy Babchenko).
Hermann Raith was one of the early beta testers and started in June 2011. In just over 4 months he has reached this milestone. With an estimated average speed of 50km/h it means Raith has spent some 200 hours on getting there, and having spent less than €0.30 ($0.40) for every hour of pure track time. He must be having fun...
