Just over 3 years after the launch of VRC Pro 3 racers are approaching the incredible distance of.... 100,000 virtual kilometers. That is a total distance of 2 1/2 times around the earth, with a radio controlled model racing car. Hard to imagine and must be a world record! Reaching 100,000 km will make them member of the illustrious VRC Pro Century Club.
The race to this milestone is between Tom Ebersole from the US with 95,491 km under his belt, Graham Raistrick from the UK with 93,952 km, and Pierre Dumusc from Switzerland with 92,690 km. Interestingly, all 3 are well over 50 and long time r/c racers, indicating that virtual r/c racing must have a great appeal to 'senior' and ex r/c racers. Maybe we should start an 'over 50' league one day... Having said that, Graham Raistrick is leading several of the rankings and has won major series in the past years, so by no means these 'seniors' are too old, on the contrary. They are hard to beat!
So even after 3 years of virtual r/c racing and an incredible mileage these members are still having a great time racing VRC Pro, every day, every mile!

Congratulations Graham to be the first in VRC to drive 100 K
and to you Tom what an achievement. in the last 1½ month you both did drive more than 5000 km. Thats more than 110 km pr dag!

It was me !!!!!
Tom was still reading 99948....I thought he was on the OVAL doing fast laps so I pushed on thinking he was racing with me....turns out he had ducked off to do some club events.
He' ther now too...looks funny with the 1 not being in the counter box.
Wonder how many acheivements points we will get for 100,000 km

Tom and Graham reached 100k km to day but how was the first.
Graham was almost 500 km from 100K km today and Tom was almost 300 km from 100K today.
Amazing that they reached 100K today.

Tom is very close to 100K.
In 1 one month he has been driving 3400km. Awesome 1200 km back, will he be able to reached the 100K before December or will Graham be able to catch up with Tom?

Could be a sprint between these really fast game racers to the 100,000 km mark. I only need 55K to catch up, haha.

I like how people say 'addicted to R.C' that's how I feel too! At first it was fascination. I could build and bring to life an RC Car! Then it became obsession. On another note in regards to racers coming up to 100,000km it shows that a high percentage of the best racers are over fifty years and are 100% dedicated. Like I say you never stop learning in RC. Respect. Keeps me motivated... Thank You to all long time Pro's.
