Sorry Alex but I think you are missing the point.
We have a fantastic SIM here that I've been racing for a year or more now and still some tracks in 8th onroad i have not raced.
Weather I race the world's or not is my choice and that will depend on my family's needs as you already know.
YOU are the only negative thing I have come across in the otherwise lovely community of vrc.
And like another vrc member has stated to you PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT ME REFERNCE ME SPEAK ABOUT ME.
I refuse to acknowledge anything you say from this point on.
Guys, take it easy, Alex is French and not native English speaking, and the way of expressing can be perceived differently by native English. I know Alex as only having good intentions... he is a big fan of VRC!
Hi Pieter
I do apologize that this has reached the forum.
But I must let you know that this post from Alex has absolutely nothing got to do with poor English.
Alex and I play MP together a lot and during one of these sessions we talked about the world's and as I had explained this was not my favourite track but if the world's are here that's ok for me.
We also talked about me not actually running because I have two young children and Xmas time is a very busy time of year for me.
So as you can see his post was directed at me and I would simply like to put down in writing that Alex Guillot simply does not contact me or reference me or speak about me. And I know that I am not the first person to ask Alex to not contact them. As far as I am concerned that should be the end of the mater.

Of course choose whatever track you want there are so many very good tracks for a World!
However this track was our best opportunity to see the very tops pilots 1.8 coming, as Jakub the faster lap,Martin, almost full Italia Team (Jeffrey i don't know his choice) who like much this track, if they would come for a race it is here, without them it is normal weekly Event, sorry.
Who cares it was a 1.10 Event some years ago?
Who did the 1.8 Event Age ago & still there?
Also i'm even not sure all those pilot who want change will do the 1.8 Event, but let them choose our track! The truth is also they are maybe less good in here than elsewhere

So does this mean there has not been a track selected for 1/8 worlds yet?

so many VRC Worlds at Luxembourg... 2011 for 1:8 and 2014 for 1:10, just 2. Check https://www.vrcworld.com/tracks/events.aspx?track=41#detail
Will give it a bit more thought, will start creating and finalizing the 2017 VRC Worlds schedule end of October!
2 (Two) Worlds on the same track compared to all the tracks that have 0 (Zero) Worlds till now is many yes.
Focus on, that this track was already a VRC Worlds venue for 1:8 and 1:10 and I would make sense to choose an other track!

And to Philippe's point, whether or not you love or hate Luxembourg, it is true that it has already been used for both 1.10 and 1.8 VRC Worlds.
All of the tracks on VRC are top notch world class tracks. Any one of them is appropriate to host a Worlds, in my opinion.
Thank you Kevin, at least one did understand/read what I wrote.
Luxembourg is a nice track but we had so many VRC Worlds races in the past years on this track that I would be good to race on an other track.

1. Boss Speed Tokyo
2. Brisbane
3. Fort Myers
4. Hokusei
5. Kakegawa Tamiya
This would be my favorite tracks too, to race on a track that was not used before for the VRC Worlds.
Boss Speed or Hokusei would be very cool tracks.
I hope Pieter will do a change... thanks.
