2-ROUND EVENT MODE
Following earlier discussions, the event mode is back to 2 rounds, Qualifying from Saturday till Wednesday morning, and Main finals from Wednesday morning till Monday morning. This means a weekend plus 2 week-days for qualifying, and 3 week-days plus a weekend for the Main finals. 2017 SEASON 1 RallyX spec ROUND 8 RALLY X2
Rally X2 track was hosting last race and season closer of RallyX spec serie. Drivers had found the way to tackle those demanding elevated curves and this looked good.
PRO level
In PRO level, Finnish Ilari Lamminsivu seemed to set the pace to others after two rounds and managed to get the pole for the main. Hong Kong`s laprobot Carson Yeung was standing at second place after semifinal, 10 seconds behind TQ driver. American Ely Rojas in third grid was tough opponent in here, as we knew that he was holding lap record almost every class at this track. So, was it ”hiding the speed” from Ely, main would give us an answer.
As the tone shouted for main, Rojas took lighting start and got the lead. But he made early mistake at lap 4 and dropped back of the pack. Lamminsivu and Yeung fighted at lead and Rojas start his furios way t... read more

2017 SEASON 1 1:8 SPORTCARS ROUND 8 Heemstede 1
PRO level
Heemstede was hosting last race of 1:8 sportcars series in 2017 SEASON 1.
American super talent, double World Champion Joshua Berman dominated PRO level race. He was fastest in every round and won this race with style and showed how champ drives.
Irish driver Austin Elliot was the closest behind Berman in qualifying and practice. But It was a bit dull because Elliot wasnt at the grid when main final started.
Another American, Kevin Bacon was third in semifinal and started from third grid. Kevin had the pace, but he was totally out of rhytm. He made several mistakes during his run and these gave him huge 30 seconds extra. Portugese Nuno Lourenco got third place and was one lap behind Bacon when race ended. Nuno started from fourth grid, so he secured his position when Elliot retreated from the race.

2017 SEASON 1 1:10 SC TRUCKS 13.5T ROUND 8 Barco
Brand new, just released Barco offroad track was hosting and season closer of 8th and last round of Short Course 13.5 serie.
This track had very warm wellcome from drivers, as it was released. And, no doubt, this is one great achivements from VRC PRO head designer Tony West. For onroader, this track is also guite driveable, roughness is very smooth but adds reality very nicely. Just great job from VRC PRO officials.
PRO level
Marshall Kirkholm and Ilari Lamminsivu were in mainroles when winner of PRO level race was solved. Lamminsivu had secured his first grid for the final with 12 seconds gap before Kirkholm. Carson Yeung drove to third grid, 11 seconds slower than Kirkholm.
So, according the semifinal, it was expected that Lamminsivu was huge favourite to take this one. Kirkholm started very furiosly and was right... read more

SEASON 1 2017 1:8 NITRO BUGGY round 7 Buenos Aires
There is one more to go after this 7th round race of Nitro Buggy serie. Buenos Aires track was hosting this round and totally 92 drivers participated to this event.
PRO level race was total domination by Swedish driver Jonas Larsson. Even multiple VRC PRO Worldchampion Martin Wollanka didnt had any weapons to challenge this Swedish youngster at qualifying or in the semi, so furios Larsson`s pace was. At qualifying, Larsson left Austrian Wollanka over 8 and in semifinal, almost 13 seconds away. When grid was ranged for A-main, Wollanka was missing and this was looking very easy win for Larsson. Jonas continued his clean furios driving and was on his own. He crossed the line one lap ahead of second place driver, Marshall Kirkholm. Marshall had some mistakes in early stage of the main, was it lack of rhytm or what but h... read more

The first 3 rounds of this event was a see saw battle between the two Americans Robert Smith and Jimmy Flack. Flack sat on pole for the A Main final and the question was would one of these two men take the chequered flag or would a dark horse rise and take the win?
Flack took full advantage of the pole and drove a fast consistent race and lead from green light to checkered flag. His lap times were very consistent race and set the fastest lap of the race on the final lap.
Robert Smith also drove a great race but his lap times weren't quite quick enough to keep up with Flack. His biggest hope for a win was a mistake from Flack but unfortunately for Smith that never happened. His consistent lap times cemented his second place and was the only other driver to finish on the lead lap.
The battle for the final podium was a hard fought battle between Graham Raistrick from the United Kingdom an... read more

VRC Centurion Graham Raistrick took home the checkered flag at the most recent 1:10 Nitro NASCAR Truck race at Luxembourg. Raistrick (UK), who was also the top qualifier, had an uncharacteristic slow reaction to the buzzer which allowed Balint Rezes (HU) to take an early lead. Rezes was able to stay close to Raistrick for the opening three laps, but Raistrick got into a rhythm and quickly retook the lead on lap 3 and never looked back. Raistrick pulled away for the remainder of the final and finished 12.024 seconds in front of the young gun from Hungary. Raistrick ran a very clean and consistent final. His fastest lap was 18.484 seconds; his slowest lap was 19.106 seconds; one of only two in his 10-minute final. Raistrick’s average lap was a fast 18.742 seconds. Raistrick finished with 31 laps in 10:03.012
