Welcome to the JP Racing Club

Hello, this club is arranging races for both, off and onroad classes.
And yes, as im reporting and making videos some races inside the club.
Theres no special favourites what to record, ill just pick some races and record those. Of course participant amount will affect to my decision. So, be patient, race hard and you might see your run at JP racing videos.

SRC interviewed Ugo Calaprice

17.01.2016

SRC had once again great opportunity to chat with this fast and gentle Italian laprobot Ugo Calaprice. Like Massimiliano, this man is worth to watch. Especially at onroad races, where he participates....results will speak for themselves. And also like Massimiliano, consistently he is building his strategy to the very end of every race, and this style gives him very great result almost in every race. Also he is nice "dude" to chat with, allways gives straight opinion what he thinks about settings and stuff. Its a pleasure have you on board Ugo. Wellcome to the club!!

NAME

Ugo Calaprice

WHAT CLASSES HAVE YOU DRIVED?

I have driven from 1982 to 1985 with 1/10 (Tamiya F1) and 1/12 electric (AYK RS401i Cyclone) on road car on improvised tracks in forecourts with a group of friends marking the circuit with chalk, cones, bicolor stripes and a lot of passion and good will.

From 1986 to 1990 I have driven the 1/10 offroad 2WD (Kyosho Ultima) always on improvised tracks in quarries.

After a long break of 15 years, from 2005 to 2011 I taught to drive to my son and I was his mechanic in numerous regional and national competitions in 1/10 200mm nitro on road category (Mughen, Kyosho, Xray) with excellent results. I also participated in a few races conquering some podiums.

BEST RESULTS FROM START TO THIS DAY?

When I was young, I had not the chance to run many official competitions because I was penniless and engaged in motocross and in enduro races. In all competitions in which i participated, I had very good results but the most prestigious as mechanic for my son.

SPONSORS ?

I never had sponsors.

FUTURE DREAMS AND HOPES?

Staying in the RC world, even if I love to drive, one day I'd like to continue to follow my son on tracks and this is also one of his greatest wish, but now he is engaged in university studies.
That was a wonderful experience that i wish you all with your children.

These news will be continued...just watch out your messages☺. Its tough to discover what write about drivers😀...as many are so talented and friendly. But it would be boring if everybodys name would be at the list with writing "these are fast and friendly"😏.
Peace by peace we are making every type of news.
