Fear Farm is always a fun track, unless you have hay fever ! lol
In spec Nathan Glover came out and stayed clear of the hay bales to take first overall. First week out for the Otter, John Blakley, with his new fancy monitor he put in a good run to finish 3rd and take the last podium spot. The closest race in this class was for the six sevvvvvvn spot (my apologies). Dave Walker was up by 5 seconds on Gordie Tam with 4 laps to go but but his 47s 12th lap let Gordie get by and while cookie monster charged hard gaining seconds on each lap he ultimately finished 0.079 seconds back. Welcome Kris Fricker to virtual racing !
In mod we have a new driver to the club, AJ Rodriguez, and he is fast. 33s lap on Fear Farm is fast. He takes the top spot with his first race, but not without a battle with Nathan. A slow lap 3 for AJ granted Nathan a 5s lead but AJ went clean after that and took the lead back with 5 laps to go and finished the race just over 3 seconds ahead. I already mentioned the Otter was back and picking up where they left off last year he battled with Gabriel Yvon swapping spots 3 times over the 10 minutes. In the end Gabriel would lay down double 36s on the last 2 laps to take back the lead and take the battle by 1.340s to finish 5th overall. Welcome to Pippo Team randagi with their first race this week as well!
