Hi guys,

Anybody feel like throwing a setup out there? Obviously there isn't much to change but with my experimenting, its more than enough to cause an average 1sec a lap difference...

I haven't raced on-road in real life, only off-road and that's only been for 8 months! I've watched replays of everybody and as like in any motorsport, consistency and race line makes a big difference.

Awesome to see a NZ group going at it! Thanks for setting this up Luke and anybody else behind the scenes

Cheers
James

Far out, my eyes aren't coping with this very well :(
Getting old haha.

Takes a bit to adjust to staring intensely at a screen for 5 minutes or more. I refuse to race the long 1/8th mains on vrc. 20 minutes is about all i can handle. Anyway ur not getting old :)

Great drive Luke!!! I gave it my best shot, but didn't quite have your speed.

On a side note: Did anyone else find if they touched the barriers a few too many times (even lightly) their car would overheat and shut down after a while?

Thanks Michael good racing. I had overheating issues aswell. I just thought it was from pushing too hard. Its a little stupid seen as the ratios are fixed.

To be honest Luke, I'm still not sure exactly why it was happening. I did notice the temps were very high when the car was in the pits after it had shut down. I'm not certain whether it was due to nudging the walls ever so slightly, hitting the brakes too hard, or maybe too hard on the gas. I don't think it has affected the result for me, as with one minute to go on my last run, I was about 1 second ahead of my best run, which would still give me the same result,so far anyway ;)

Mike
