That would mean having to cut off my hands......dont like the sound of that very much :/
I think the problem with SPEC is that thers no punch to make up for all the little mistakes. With the MOD buggy you can cover up the bad stuff by just giving it the beans, with this you lose like a couple 100ths at least for any error you make.

That's a disgrace Javan, ridiculously quick for spec around here, fastest I have managed is a 36.4. :-)

Can't make my mind up what gearing to use, too low for more acceleration, for me, makes the back end more slippy when putting the power down and losing time wheel spinning or correcting slides. Too high and I feel it lacks the punch.

I think I need to tweak my driving technique and try something a bit different.

Are you running drag brake on the spec class, thinking now that might assist a little instead of using normal brakes to be able to get on the gas more quickly.

45/12 gearing at the moment for me seems comfortable enough.

I'm not on the game at the mo so you'll have t bear with my descriptive powers. The gearing on mine is the top bar in the middle and the bottom all the way right. I guess that's a 13 tooth pinion? It tops ouot just after the straight so is a nice balance between top end and acceleration.
