Welcome to the Thursday Nite Live!

We have live club racing weekly Thursday nights starting @ 8:30pm Central! No time trial racing here, only heads up real main events. We qualify during the week to sort people in to A, B, and lower mains. Then we bump 2 from each main up until it's showtime, the A-Main! Currently using spec e-buggy to keep the homework to a minimum and fun high. All mains will be 10 minutes with double A's.

Finding The Race Line added: 14.01.2019

Want to find the fast line on a new track or even one you've been racing exclusively? On other racing games there is a ideal raceline that can be turned on to help the player visualize the best way possible. Unfortunately, VRC doesn't have that option so
we have to imagine it.

Here's a method to work it out on any layout. This is done by prioritizing corners. Size up all the straight sections. The longest (Usually the Start Grid section) will have the highest priority. Each successively shorter straight gets less and less priority. The priority of those straight sections is going to determine where the corner apex will be.

For example, imagine a corner with equal length straightaways before and after. The ideal apex will be right at the mid-point of the corner. Then look at the length of straight before and after. If the straight after the corner you're approaching is longer then take a later apex. Now we can identify where the apex is. Next is to determine when to turn into the corner and how fast you enter the corner in order to 'hit' the apex. that will come with practice but go slow at first and pick up speed when you feel comfortable.
