I have seen this phrase used often over the years in sim racing such as when I used to run rfactor always. I like the one used on Tamiya "The Frogs" rear wing "No Guts No Glory"

It's an American expression. Usually it's "Go big or go home" but he adapted it to racing. It means do the best you can every time or don't bother trying. It's meant as an encouragement, a good thing.
