I had dier problems with my screen glitching every 30s and also minimising VRC to the task bar after around 3 mins racing.
Looks like it was my McAfee antivirus doing something in the background every 30s. Easy way to tell was to go offline in the game....problem seemed to disappear then. I ended up uninstalling it and installing AVG Free instead. Couple of good programs I found along the way...Razer Cortex (game booster type software that shuts down un-needed background programs) and RivaTunerStatistics Server (basically allows you to set the max frame rate in a game so the graphics card isn't getting too overworked....NOTE You have to have ADMIN rights on your Windows user account to make the FPS changes).
