Posted by: Nicolas Evens (BE) on 24.5.2013 9:32:50 (UTC) Thanks for the tips Kirby! With those and more practice I shaved almost a second on my best lap with 33.1. Still not jumping the triple and lacking consistency, but in progress :)

Good going Nicolas, some may like to drive a higher steer angle its all personal driving feel some like a looser feel while others like a tighter less twitchy feel. I use to run 45 steer angle at all tracks for a number of months which can be fast but you get the rear end sliding out I feel alot running that, but it can be quick. After a number of months of running high steer angle I came to the conclusion after much testing at diffrent steer angles that around 30 to 35 works best and keeps truck much more stable, just my opinion Im sure some may feel totally diffrently about that.

i used to run 35 steer angle and usually do at most tracks but this one with the speed and angles on turns a lower steer angle suits me better for stability purpose.

Also try -3.5 or -4 toe if having problems with rear end sliding out alot that can help stability, I hit 10 laps in last qualification run with -3.5 rear toe

Also my lap times have got a little closer too, 32.7 for full fat and 33.5 now for stock

I can get that jump in practice about 50/50 so not worth it racing at the minute,
similar settings just a bit more rear camber and 30 steering

Posted by: Kirby Backemeyer (US) on 19.5.2013 21:12:49 (UTC) im just using default settings pretty much only changing gear to 58/17 28 steer angle and 45 on my center diff. just got to hit all turns just right keep up as much momentum thru turns as possible. and that jump section you must try to keep stable and straight get just right amount of throttle to land that jump well and not cut course and get marshalled or go too far and get caught in outside piping, kinda tricky to learn but once you get it down it really helps out the time

Can't figure out how you're going so fast with 13.5 Kirby! Great drive :)

Im about a second slower but the 13.5 is abit more stable and easier drive. I did hit a 32.082 in qualification run for Silver Dollar event but average lap times are high 32's to low 33's for me with 13.5
