Tutorial on how to scrub speed when jumping added: 07.07.2017

Hi guys!

Here is a short video I made to demonstrate the technique to scrub speed when jumping. Everyone noticed that a car moves faster on the ground than in the air. When you go high and far in the air, you slow down and lose time. The "scrub" technique makes it possible to fly at full speed towards the jump while remaining as low as possible from the ground so that we can land as quickly as possible.

This technique is particularly effective on "wall jumps" or big jumps. To "scrub" a jump, simply go full speed towards the jump and give a quick hit on the brakes just before taking off. Doing that, the buggy will go faster over the jump by staying low over the jump and will also travel wing high.

When the technique is well mastered and used on the right jumps, it saves valuable seconds during a race!
