I can´t confirm this tip in general... it depends on the nerves of the driver!!! I noticed that I can always squeeze out damn fast laptimes without getting a crash when I´m angry - so I always race like a devil after I had a crash.
An example: 1st A-main Euro-TW class (14T powered) at the Tamiya-Nats this year - it was wet track and I started from 7th position. Before the start I was already angry, because the run in Topstock-class right before went very bad for me. Then I got shot out of the track right in the first corner of the Euro-TW leg and after been marshalled I was in 14th position... at that point I didn´t care anymore about risks of hitting a curb or anything else - I got in rage and pressed out an insane 5-minute run in the wet conditions with lots of clean overtakings. In the end I made my way up from second last after first corner to 2nd in this run!
