Welcome to the VRC PRO Fans Club

Hello to all. I created this club with the intention to organize races in all classes ! I would try different solutions of the race, with a short time as one or three minutes or with long time as fifteen or thirty minutes, with qualifying and finals, in a single race, or in a mixed race !! I hope this will please you, so that we can have races with many drivers!

VRC USB and receiver, wires and cable disorder added: 25.06.2011

Category: Quick fix     Views: 13056     Rating:

Sometimes, there is a mess with all cables and wires on desktop.

A cap of a used spray-can, brake cleaner... with usb rectangular hole at the bottom.
A used (or new) foam wheel of 1/10.
An antenna tube fixed in the wheel with silicone glue.
A MP3 usb cable.

Simply put the VRC USB and receiver in the cap, the antenna in the tube, close the cap with the wheel, it fits... put a commercial brand sticker on it, done.

This 61mm rear tyre can be used again, there is lot of foam on it... but my friend give it to me because the second tyre of the rear pair was too much degraded... (novice quiting track, passage lawn-track) he had to buy it by pair before he get a tyre truer... I saw drivers trash used tyre with no foam on it, some drive to the rim...

It is not a tyre from a "famous" driver but a friend tyre...

A "foamous driver" ... :D

This tyre is 61.11mm and the cap is exterior dia. 62.62mm... Aerosols can be between dia. 55-65mm... And cap can be buyed separately online in quantity between 1 and 10.000 at the cost between 0.01$ or 0.03$ ...

The cap's height 46.88mm and tyre is a 1/10 Rear30mm from GRP serpent wheel rim. New, it is dia. 66mm and cost 8€ for two.

Some other brand (exceed) sell front new dia 65mm... http://www.redrc.net/2010/05/xceed-super-barchetta-wheels-tires/ this tyre is a front of Super Barcheta class and the height is 31.5 (GT WIDE, 220mm class front tyre is wider than 200mm rear tyre...)

LOL

Honestly, I don't know, I'm not a real RC racer. I was in a RC mate house, asked him an old cap (think it was from colora can) and a used wheel... I know some cap of break cleaner are wider than color can cap, new tire should fit in it...

Hi F, what a cap of a used spray-can you have been taken? I have bought me a new foam-wheel 1/10 but i found in my Garage no Cap thats fits?!
The diameter is to big, that i can not press the rim into the cap...
