7 NEW TRACKS TO BE RELEASED ON FRIDAY NOV. 3RD

We are planning to release the following new tracks for the upcoming 2023 VRC Worlds on Fridays November 3rd.

Welkom Arena South Africa
- Welkom 1 2018 IFMAR Worlds 1:10 ISTC layout
- Welkom 2 2018 IFMAR Worlds 1:12 sportscars layout
- Welkom 3 new layout
- Welkom 6 oval

VRC XTREME Complex
- Xtreme BO1 big oval
- Xtreme MO1 medium oval

VRC Dirt complex
- VRC Dirt 4 DRIFT

As beta testing support from the VRC community has been quite low, we are planning to organize Pre-Worlds test events on these tracks to iron out possible flaws before the VRC Worlds events take off.

Lausanne grip is 105%, but changing this would upset asll the lap records...

yes, was found too high in beta test. I thought traction would be very high because it is indoor and set it to 115%, now back to std. traction setting 100%

The 1/12 cars a very difficult to drive on asphalt as always! (The Collegno and Bangkok tracks are working much better). There is another finish line just before the white line when you crash on the right side of the track! (Not the first time this happened in an early stage VRC track and wondering how this is possible!) Some marshal points are setting your car ways back from the crash point.


the grip was set very high as this is an asphalt indoor track and traction doesn't get washed away. But apparently too high. I have reset it to normal, 1:12 should be better now.

Not really a fun track! VRC Xtreme Medium Oval - All XTR tracks are having the same issue that the tracks feels very narrow! - When leaving the track to the Pitlane you get call pressing the space bar!


pitlane entry issue should be resolved now!

( in the 1/8 & 1/10 On road category ) please try the circuits before taking them out Pieter. your work is remarkable but it is clearly not complete. 😥 Kevin, can you point out on the lay-out drawing https://www.vrcworld.com/tracks/track.aspx?track=156 where exactly these spots are and send the image to my email? I assume the game crashing issue has been resolved?

As I explained elswehere I was running into data integrity issues which were causing these problems. With the help of my developers we have been able to tackle this and all should be fine again from now on.

Sorry for these issues, VRC is a complex project believe me, developed over a decade ago and usually things work fine, but sometimes I am faced with problems that are beyond me. And I am running VRC Pro for 99% all by myself...

I then have to rely on ex-developers who are still willing to jump in when things go wrong. Big thanks to Lubo and Tomas!

is that really an issue? Lot of work to re-open this track for mods

no idea why this is, I have no control over this, should be pitlane start
