There is a discussion among members about the duration of main finals of official VRC events. Some members expressed their concerns that too long main finals has a negative effect on the participation in official VRC events. A much voiced argument is that VRC racing is very stressful for the eyes, much more than in real r/c car racing. I am interested to hear your opinion on this matter. I have created a poll with a simple question:
Are Main Finals for official VRC events:
1: just right
2: too long
3: too short

Staring at the little car on the screen for more than 20 minutes is certainly unhealthy and no fun.
20 minutes max. for Nitro
10 minutes max. for Electric
And for Oval all max. 10 minutes

I have a different meaning
For Nitro qualify 4-8 minutes. 4 min e.g. for 1:8 sportcar, 8 for GT clases or Spec clases.
I would like to have 20 mins for Nitro finals, as in real bump-up final races.
For worlds even longer, 30 Minutes.
Electric can als stick to the normal rules, qualification 5 minutes, or 8 for 1:12.
Finals should be as long as one battery lasts.
Sure, racing is stressfull, but I an unsure if it is more stressfull on PC as on real life.

To long !
8-10 for nitro max
5-6 for electric max
Worlds can be longer to prove that the driver deserves the win but I wouldn’t go over 30 mins & 15 mins for oval !!!
