The only type of car that is missing in VRC in my honest opinion is some sort of 2wd off road vehicle, I don't care if it is a buggy or short course as long as it is 1/10 scale and 2wd, then I and most will be quite happy, and it doesn't have to be perfect as long as it mostly resembles a 2wd vehicle. From my own research in the forums and news I think there was at some point supposed to be an update to add 2wd short course trucks ot the game, but it got canceled many years ago.
As for the realistic lmp bodies it would probably be really good idea to add them to the gt classes, but keep the aerodynamic properties the same as the current gt bodies, because there is currently only two body styles in the gt class, and from what I have read in the forums and post most people are bored of the current two body styles.
I don't think using gt bodies from the real world would work because the gt cars in the VRC game are a completely different design, (Based on 1/8 pan car.) compared to rc gt cars in the real world, (Based on loosely on 1/8 buggies).

That is correct, many of us will not race on World or European tracks in real rc-racing.
BUT, as we have now very good live streams e.g. from https://rcracingtv.com/ I feel good if I can see a race, where I raced in VRC.
Like Euros in Halifax, Large Scale in Lostallo, Luxemburg, etc.
Then I can say "I know the layout and how hard it is to drive there"
I know that the building of the real tracks was highly engineered, Pieter postet some reports about this with many visits and measurements.
Sure, this might be quite much work, but would it be needed all the time? Couldn't you copy the layout of the track, at least for on-road it should be quite OK if you do not have the full scale layout.
Also for off-road the layout and the shape of the jumps are important, but not the 100% scale look and feel.
You mentioned it and I agreed, most of us will not run such tracks in real life.

Competitions feels the same the radios changed more than the body during the last 20 years. If I had the choice between an old vintage cool and realistic rc body and a brand new one being aerodynamic based ill 100% pick the old one. Sad the regulations changed, even in real life we are loosing realism, this category isnt rc anymore for me. Its all the same mosquitos flat cars driving, regulations should ban these and bring the old classic real car shapes...

I agree, especially in real RC the 1:8 Truggy bodies went completely out of control, the body is now more or less a shoe box with fake windows!
I don't understand how ROAR did allow that in the USA. I would prefer real Truggy bodies how it was when this class started.
But IFMAR is not better in track choice for 1:8 Nitro Buggy. I loved the tracks at Las Vegas and Perth, real bumpy dusty dirty track - pure OFF-ROAD.
The tracks in Barcelos (Portugal) and Redovan (Spain) are super flat high-speed tracks with a few small jumps and one big jump, that's it!
They oil the track and low maintenance is needed, but is that the aim and DNA of Off-Road racing?
The only clever guy at the 1:8 electric WC was JQ (Mayako) that developed a flat car with low CQ, you don't need big oil shocks on such tracks!
And what goes for probably 95% of all races, we have a cool hobby, but it's organised on "hidden" places! Not sure on how many races I was, where there were more spectators at the side of the track than relatives and race participants, for sure only a few!
I was a the frist MK GP (England) in a shopping mall, bring the hobby to the people.

I am contacting that new facility in China which will hold the 1:12 and 1:10 Worlds and try to work out a deal to do all their tracks. We don't have many members from China and this would be a great opportunity to connect with Chinese r/c racers through them. English is more common now for most Chinese so there should not really be a language issue using VRC. Their facility is really interesting, I noticed even a 'sim racing' corner with multiple seats for real racing. Of course part of the deal would have to be a 8-station multi-player setup for VRC, featuring their tracks.
For sure they will aim for more Worlds in the future making the creation of these track and a close collaboration with the owners and organizers very interesting for the future. With their input (detailed track lay-out plans, images etc.) we can surely 3D model that whole facility.

To bring the new China "Hongyu GDC Racing Center" to VRC would be amazing. They have 1:10/1:8 On-Road, 1:12 On-Road and 1:8/1:10 Off-Road.
Of course it would be a lot of work, but maybe the focus of the work can be more on the layout and surface and less of the surrounding of the track to save development work/money? Or sponsors (RC and not RC) of the track are willing to pay a bit to VRC too?
We are looking forward to that project

The main questions for the limited development activities (time&money) should be: What will I archive? Will I get more customers or will I get the current racers more satisfied?
To develop a complete new 1/8th electro chassis like the 190 will probably an upgrade to new and actual hardware and a F1 chassis/body will be great and potentially gets more users.
But are the amount of classes not already enough now? Philip already mentioned it, we have enough chassis and enough races (from my point if view).
Not sure if it makes sense to make a poll to all users or a kind of research what is needed the most, at least for the current users.
For the new users it might be more difficult what to develop.
New actual tracks and updated chassis would be my suggestion.
Regular races, e.g. World or European championchips, e.g parallel of shortly after the real events on the same track.

Torsten, tx for your input. Yes like Philippe you are right, I can agree that more classes are not really necessary... sometimes I get carried away with new ideas, and a deep desire to see how real r/c racing could be improved, like in my Serpent years.
About tracks, to do actual existing tracks is very costly, much more than our own designs. The issue is that a relative small number of racers will actually know the track, have raced on it, most don't. And does it then matter if it's a real track or a 'fantasy' one? We have a good number of existing tracks and 'fantasy' tracks needed to have enough track variation for the series.
