Announcing a close collaboration between Virtual Racing Industries / VRC Pro, and RC Paddock. You can now analyse your practice and race sessions in the RC Paddock app (RCP), and compare yourself with other VRC racers!
The RCP app has been developed for real r/c racing using Mylaps timing and datalogger data, but can now also be used with VRC Pro! The RCP app was developed without any involvement of Virtual Racing Industries. Only after experiments with the replay-file structure and data, it became clear what a great treasure of useful racing data has been built up in the VRC database over the years. RCP demonstrated the potential of the RCP app which was the start of a close collaboration between VRI and RCP. The RCP app is constantly being upgraded to improve the user experience!
This app adds a whole new dimension to your (virtual) rc racing. Besides practicing, playing with set-up, and racing, RCP now adds in-depth analysis of your racing lines and car control, throttle, braking and steering characteristics with the racing line G-force diagrams in the Telemetry section of the app.
RCP lets you select any event, multiplayer or even practice session, providing there is a replay file available. Event replay files are automatically stored, private practice sessions using event mode also generate a replay file which you need to save before exiting the session.
You can also use the RCP app to enter set-up changes with your comments, which, with the use of AI, can generate and suggest setup changes to improve the handling of your car!
RC Paddock offers a 3 months trial membership, enough to let you explore all the features. Questions about the use of the RCP app can be addressed directly with RC Paddock, but can also be shared with other VRC members in the Comments section or in the RC Paddock forum topic.
Enjoy this new dimension to Virtual RC Racing. It will add a whole new dimension to VRC and can make you a better and faster (virtual) RC racer!

just got a telemetry session between real rc car and VRC on myCandy track. VERY INTERESTING as it presents analysis to correlate between real and virtual for the VERY FIRST TIME in history, will eventually share this once I have a complete understanding of what I am looking at.
I can already see it being used in Beta Testing to further enhance tires and engines, bring them closer together despite the cars already race identical pace and lines...
Wish we had this 20 years ago... But it's also testimony of how realistic the physics are without having all these analysing tools available back then. All cudos to Todd!

I can't help with this, I am still finding out how this all works. RCP provides all the support so better contact them!
