The early July release has been postponed due to unexpected complications and intensified testing demands related to the co-release of several new features, including replay, ghost cars, controller mapping, achievement system, new camera zoom system and several other features.
Even though the short course truck is now practically ready for release, more work needs to be done to tackle the side effects of transmission changes prepared for the short course trucks (especially the differentials). These side effects affect the handling and performance of the on-road cars as they use the same physics engine. Good progress was already made and we hope to still release offroad this month.
The other reason for delay has to do with the development of new features. Many new features were developed since the last big game update and all need intensive testing before release. Some of you may say: why not leave those features out and release offroad now? It’s not that simple. Everything is programmed in the main program file (exe), you can't leave things half finished and roll back to a previous version to say it simply.
On top of that, also our involvement in the IFMAR Worlds with the Race2theWorlds project is demanding our attention and resources.
As always, we are doing our utmost to get it out, but only when it is ready to go out. I can't wait to let you guys get your hands on short course off-road.... Here are some reactions from our beta testers:

I joined in June with the idea that offroad would be here soon and I wanted to start my "loyalty" bonus. Well here we are in August with no new word from VRC about the release. I do feel ripped off eventhough I've been racing to try and learn onroad though i'm not sure why! I own 7 different offroad vehicles and zero onroad cars! All I know is 2 wheel buggy and 8th scale 4x Bug/Truggy better happen soon after SCT or I'll be a former subscriber!

is a monopoly, the VRC think can do anything even lie and miss with the word as they are the only ones with quality sooner or later know that people will return. Think they have the right to submit to silence and continue with a fraudulent ad, I still see all around off-road cars with the VRC simbol, continue to sell a product that does not exist yet.

Seems as though you guys(VRC) are pissing alot of people off.. If I treated my clientele like this, Id be eating out of a trash can!
Who ever dropped the ball on this needs to just step up-admit they were wrong, and get it fixed!!
Seems as though you guys are loosing an A$$ load of customers plus any potential future customers by beating around the bush! The only reason I haven't RE-UP'd my subscription is because of the lack of communication and honesty on your part.. Its time to put on the big boy underwear and get your job done, or can the people holding up the process.
