Yay... i'm now a member until 13/10/2062.
I will try and convince some friends to join and transfer some of the 307 veuros that i have.
Thanks Tim / VRC.

how about allowing me to gift my v dollars to a friend? I would love to get my friends into this and this may entice at least one of them to join
This will be no problem, we can at least transfer (reasonable) part of your vEuros to a friend (or couple of friends), just drop me a message when your friend is in and I'll make it happen manually.

I think this unlimited time offer is very attractive for a new member and someone who wants to race all the car class. But not to me. I was a lite member before and had spent about 80 veuro on extra content and tracks. And in fact I only race 1/8th car and only participate on 1/8th competition event. So I will continue my newly converted to free to play status and will spend another veuro for extra contents and tracks I needed to participate in competition. That's my thought.
Anyway it is still much much cheaper than racing a real r/c in real world. I really love this simulator.

- and if we would allow vEuros to be used, then probably not on heavily discounted products, only full price
I would be happy to pay full price if i could use my vEuros. I have been a loyal member since original vrc and have purchased every track in vrc and vrc pro using real dollars over the years, so i think i qualify as loyal and very supportive of vrc industries.
I'm not having a whinge about the offer, i think its a great offer and i really want to accept. However i feel i should ask this due to having over 300 veuro's in my account all of which came from me paying for content in real money as i'm only an average driver and with the aussie dollar so crap at the moment it would cost me about $210 plus conversion fees.
If not fair enough...
If i do accept and pay for the unlimited account how about allowing me to gift my v dollars to a friend? I would love to get my friends into this however none have been willing to join and this may entice at least one of them to join and make my purchase even more worthwhile. Just a thought...

Concerning all questions about vEuros and the premium membership, please note a few things here:
- yes if you buy the lifetime premium all-inclusive then it makes no sense using your vEuros ever again, but at the same time you also nullify ever having to pay anything for any (future) content again, so the value is NOT 1:1
- remember also that with the old subscription model you still needed to pay for monthly subscription in order to use content purchased with vEuros (this explains why in the new F2P the price is a bit higher [i.e. normal Lite pricing], but you don't have to pay any subscription anymore)
- vEuros could never (before) be used to pay for subscription, so why suddenly expect it now?
- and if we would allow vEuros to be used, then probably not on heavily discounted products, only full price
- in many cases you've already consumed part of your vEuros (by simply having used the content, so how should we treat that, it becomes complicated!)
- basically it comes down to a simple decision: do you want to continue with F2P using your remaining vEuros, or are you going to put in 150 Euros to never ever pay anything again with a premium lifetime full subscription.
Look, of course we make exceptions for long time loyal customers, but we have to draw a reasonable line. And even many loyal customers have simply paid for the premium membership because they want to support us, and we want you to know that we greatly appreciate this!
