I can't wait to buy lifetime Mebership and join with yall. I love buggies. I hope they'll have carpet race track for buggies too. I've seen some videos on youtube. That'll be nice to have.

I should mention....I'm only about a mid-level club racer, and it took me about 50km on the track before I started to get the hang of it. When I started running on it, I hated it....
Now it is one of my favorites!

IRL tracks change and you will have to adapt and not get psyched out. Learning to adapt to new circumstances is one of the many features why VRC Pro is such a great training tool. We throw new challenges at you all the time, mastering the most difficult ones will make you a better racer in VRC Pro but IRL as well.
This applies to both tracks and cars. Maybe the car doesn't drive exactly like your own although with setup you should be able to get pretty close. But cars change too, tires wear, some parts of the suspension may get tied up a bit, these things happen IRL. So also managing a car that is maybe a little off from what you would like is a challenge that will make you a better racer!

Just a quick note on this track - the learning curve is VERY steep. It is, after all, a world championship layout on a very large, very demanding, very technical track.
Until you start to get the hang of it, it can be frustrating.
Once you get the hang of it, it is a VERY fun and VERY rewarding track!
+1.
I've gone from hating the track to respecting it to loving it. I can imagine how many parts people would've broken IRL.

Ah so we're not losing the old chassis then. The new one is just an addition. Sounds like a good idea seeing as we are in the middle of the buggy series, might throw some people.

the physics has changed and also the default setups, so the old setup can't be used any longer. It's like starting with a complete new car, you have to set it up differently and can's start with an old setup.
As for performance, the NX8 and RX8 drive quite differently but performance wise they are pretty close. It's a matter of preference. For experienced racers maybe there is more to find in the RX8 chassis, while for sports and club racers they will probably prefer the NX8 as it drives a bit easier.
That's why we have decided to let them drive together in one class. It would be kind of odd to have 2 buggy classes only because we've added a new chassis... It's the first time that we will have 2 different cars in 1 class so let's see how this works out.
