VRC presents: CRF Lausanne in Switzerland.
VRC brings this once popular indoor carpet r/c track to life again and you can now enjoy this 'forgotten' track in VRC Pro. The track will be used mainly for 1:10 and 1:12 scale electric indoor racing.
The tracks has been scaled up slightly to accommodate the much faster electric cars compared to 2004 when VRC visited this track to collect measurements and other reference material to recreate this track. Check out the 320x240 video from back in 2004(download and watch...).
For sure this new indoor track will be popular with many die-hard electric on-road racers!

Thursday February 23rd we will release a new Rally-X track: Messina-X. The original Messina on-road track has been transformed into a part asphalt, part dirt track to accommodate the new Rally-X class. The new track can be raced in both directions and will surely also be used for short course truck racing and perhaps even some buggy racing will take place on this track.
Messina-X will host its first event this weekend as part of the 2017 Season Rally Cross.

VRC Pro can be played by everyone as a Free2Play game for unlimited time, with all spec chassis and some 8 public tracks and race in most of the weekly events. It seems however that although many try it out, few actually take the next step of purchasing an All-inclusive license (which start at 24.95 for a 3-months period) or a vEuro credit pack to purchase individual tracks, cars or components.
When new members purchase a VRC USB adaptor they gets 30 days FREE All-Inclusive access to ALL tracks and ALL cars and components so they have a 30 day period to try out everything and even compete in all events during that period. At the end of that 30 day period they fall back to Free2Play. I am wondering if this strategy actually works for VRC. Wouldn't that be enough time to decide if you want to continue with VRC Pro with a proper subscription?
An alternative could be to limit the number of free cars and/or tracks in the Free2Play package so new members can quickly try out if VRC will actually work OK on t... read more
