The Season 1 end-procuders have been finished, During Season 1 your performance in official VRC competitions has been measured using our Skill level system. With the new calculated skill level for each of the classes you have raced in your Racer level may have changed now starting 2018 Season 2.
You should check the new racer levels for each of your classes at http://www.vrcworld.com/member/changeclass.aspx
You can adjust it upwards say from Club to Sport or Sport to Pro if you prefer to race in a higher racer class in Season 2. You cannot go to a lower racer class than your new racer class indicates.
You should do this before you start your new 2018 Season 2 challange!

On Saturday June 30 2018 Season 2 will kick off.
2018 Season 2 will be raced over 7 rounds of which your best 5 results will be counted for the Series championship
All events will have a qualifying round and a Finals round, and will be raced in 3 classes, Club, Sport and Pro
The events are scheduled with 3 weeks intervals, and we will be racing both Spec and Modified for all classes again. Season 2 ends end of November leaving the month of December for the remaining VRC Worlds events.
Qualifying will be Saturday till Wednesday - finals will be Wednesday till Sunday. Modified classes will be raced with forced rostrum view - spec classes will be raced with free choice of view.
In the last week of June the skill levels will be re-calculated based on your Season 1 performance. You may be promoted to a higher class for Season 2! Make sure to check your actual racer level for all the classes you compete in before you start Season 2.

Following the successful body paintjob project we did for the C7 GT3 body, we now invite our members with advanced Photoshop skills to start working on paintjobs for the Model 11 GT3 body.
The required files are available from:

I suggest you create a copy of these files so you always have the original to turn back to.
Once you have created your paintjob you must save your design as a 1024x1024 pixel jpg called 'gt3_diff.jpg'
You can view your design with the free Autodesk 3D viewer (browser based) which can be downloaded from https://viewer.autodesk.com/.
You must create an account in order to use this viewer. The 'alpha' (used for holes and wheel arches) and the opacity (windscreens) aren't perfect, you should ignore that and not try to improve that. In the actual model in VRC it will be OK.

When we released VRC Pro back in 2011 we had high hopes that we would see a healthy organic growth of the platform. Despite having added new classes like off-road, short course trucks, RallyX and numerous tracks, this has not happened, much to our big disappointment.
Why are r/c racers who use our platform on a regular basis, so excited about what VRC Pro has to offer in terms of realism, content, competitions and are willing to pay a decent price for it, and other r/c racers don't? There are millions of enthusiastic racers involved in r/c racing worldwide and yet so few join our platform.
We certainly fall short in marketing power, reaching r/c racers worldwide is a massive and expensive challenge, and we need organic growth to keep the VRC Pro platform alive and kicking. Organic growth means growth from within itself, powered by our enthusiastic members.
