PROVISIONAL SCHEDULE SEASON 3

03.08.2016

We have now started planning the events for 2016 Season 3. The provisional schedule is posted below.
As you can see many of the events will be raced in reversed direction. Our policy is to race all the tracks in both directions as much as possible. When planning the tracks we are looking at the tracks used in the previous seasons (sometimes up until 4 seasons ago) and also which direction was used. In this way we offer you the maximum variety of tracks.

We know that not everyone like to race tracks in reversed directions but why not? It usually means a complete new layout to learn and as such it is almost the same as driving on an entirely new track. For on-road tracks reversed direction should not be any issue. For off-road tracks, although the jumps have been designed to suit both directions, this is a bit more sensitive, some tracks just don't flow well.

You have another 2 weeks to chew on the track selection for Season 3 before we implement the new schedule. Season 3 will start on Saturday September 3rd and will be a 6 event Series as December is reserved for the VRC Worlds. We will take your comments into consideration but as always, we can't please all. We can't skip a reversed direction because you just don't like it, there must be very good arguments not to use the track in reversed direction!

So.... I really enjoyed round one. I think I'm going to try and participate in a couple classes for the full season.

Is there a place I can look up the dates of the rounds?

Yeah its the same. I sometimes forget which is which, helps to click events and go to that specific event page in question.

Just my 2 cents:
Good selection of tracks except Kissimmee long. There would have been some nicer tracks like Fiorano or Messina only to give 2 samples.
Anyway, reversed or not I don't care.

It would be nice if in the nitro races have all but one be under 15 minutes and one be a 30 or 45 min race. It would be nice if it could be staggard also.
Yes it would be more realistic, but the reason for only 15 minutes or 20 minutes in VRC are that final races with 30 minutes or more a run by much less participants. That's why it's better to only have 15 minutes or 20 minutes races and to have this way more participants doing their finals. You can yourself open a Clubrace Serie with long mains.

Totally agree.
15 or 20 max are enough especially for people who run more than 1 class or have childrens or a phone or...

By the way most of the times tracks in reverse are very enjoiable.
