11 Year old Maarten Wouters, son of long time VRC racer Joost Wouters, has won the 2018 Tamiya Euro Cup in Germany in 1:10 ISTC Standard class. Maarten started r/c racing at the age of 4, and has spent numerous hours on VRC to hone his skills and strengthen his nerves, just like Ronald Völker did in his early years in r/c.
A remarkable achievement for the 11 year old, stepping in the footsteps of Ronald Völker, and Marc and Tony Reinhard who went on to become Euro and World Champions in 1:10 electric touring car racing.
We congratulate the Wouters family with this fantastic achievement, keep us posted on Joost's r/c racing carreer.

In Round 2 of the 2018 Season 2 series for nitro buggies at Psycho Nitro Blast 2012 we saw the closest 3-way finish ever recorded in VRC history, with Team Associated team driver Tom Rinderknecht (US) coming out on top just 0.031 seconds ahead of Marshal Kirkholm (US), and 0.071 seconds ahead of Robert Hillman from Sweden. Hillman led most of the race but was passed in the final stretch from the Works wall to the finish line.
This historic race deserves a great video. As always, the commentary of LiveRC announcer Mike Garrison adds another level of excitement to this race. MUST SEE VIDEO !!!

We have released 9 new GT3 M11 bodies with paintjobs created by Giovanni Di Berardino and Stanley Shaw. Big thanks to them for some excellent creative craftsmanship.
We will soon release templates for the Scorpion short course truck body. After the long hot summer is over and you brains are working normally again we will also realease a template for the Rally body. We hope to see more members join this effort to introduce member-created content.
Optimistically I would like to see max. 3 paintjobs per member. Because only 2 members provided artwork to us, we have implemented them all, a total of 9 M11 designs by Gio...
