I want to pay tribute to Ron Ton, my partner in Serpent from 1979 till 1993. Ron Ton was a brilliant engineer and craftsman. Ron was key in the early success of Serpent which established Serpent as a r/c racing brand amidst the major brands in those days Associated, Kyosho, SG, PB. You could even say that without that early success VRC would probably never have been created. His true love has always been model airplanes and model airplane engines. R/C has lost one of his great engineers and characters.
