2016 IFMAR World Champion David Ronnefalk has confirmed that he will participate in the 2016 VRC Worlds for nitro and electric 1:8 scale buggies which will be held last 3 weeks of 2016. The VRC Worlds will be held on the new virtual World Championship Las Vegas track. This new off-road track will be released shortly before the Worlds!.
With the help and advice of David we are sure to make the Las Vegas track a true replica of the real track. It would be truly historic if David could also capture the Virtual Worlds title in the same year, and on the same track!
You are all invited to take up the challenge and race with David for the 2016 title. This is your chance to race with AND against David on the same track where he convincingly won the IFMAR Worlds this year!

VRC PRO 2016 SEASON 3 1:8 NITRO BUGGY ROUND 4 NEO 9
At qualifying Markku Honkanen from Finland was on his own, when he wonned this round with 6 seconds margin before other Finnish driver Ari Koski. Third place went to Sweden, Robert Hillman doned nice run and was about 8 seconds behind TQ. Fourth and fifth in qualifying was Jonas Larsson from Sweden and Tommi Vacklin from Finland. Larsson and Vacklin had pretty similar pace with Hillman, as these three drivers were all inside in 0.4seconds.
Warren Jones from USA drove to 6th and Mikael Yrjänäinen to 7th grid. Also these drivers had pretty same pace, Jones was almost 11 seconds and Yrjänäinen 12seconds from the TQ.
After these drivers, rest of the field was Uwe De Zwart from Austria, Jarno Halonen from Finland and Charly Bruneteau from France. These three drivers had about 20 seconds gap to TQ Honkanen.

TIMED PRACTICE
In timed practice Swedish Andre Fossto and French Delcourt were setting the pace to others. Giordano from Italy, who was third in this round, were almost 8 seconds behind the leader. So it was looking two mans deal, if others wouldnt get any more pace.
Huhtala from Finland was fourth in this ”not mandatory round”, one second behind Giordano in third place. Fifth fastest was Carson Yeung from Hong Kong, almost 12 seconds behind leader.
QUALIFYING
Also in this round, Fossto and Delcourt were on fire. Very similar pace they were almost 7 seconds faster than Giordano in third place. Giordano had lifted his pace a little, but it was still too much.
