XTR LT1 PRE-RELEASE

We have pre-released the first track of the VRC Extreme Racing Complex: XTR LT1
This track is designed by Virtual Racing Industries and features a unique crossing. This has enabled us to create multiple lay-outs, these will be released over time.

It is our intention to use the new track for the upcoming VRC Worlds for both 1:8 nitro onroad classes. Sportscars will race default direction (anti-clockwise) and GT3 will race reverse direction (clockwise).

We have not been able to fully test the new track with beta testers, this would also give an unfair advantage to these beta testers over the other racers. Therefore we have created 2 test events to evaluate the track, especially the track limits (corner cutting warnings). If any issues are found pls. report them in the RACE TALK section on the event page so we can address them immediately.

1:8 Sportscars http://www.vrcworld.com/events/event.aspx?event=31348#detail
1:8 GT3 http://www.vrcworld.com/events/event.aspx?event=31349#detail

The track will be disabled after these Test events have finished, official release will be shortly before the 2022 VRC Worlds on Monday December 12th.

Enjoy the new eXTReme racing track

The far top left corner of the track is too hard to see, and it's too narrow. Maybe the track is too large so that the far left corner becomes too small. I personally don't mind the track to be a bit shorter so that driver can see all corners in a reasonable distance.

Track is not easy for a beginner like me but quite fun.
The entire game have nice graphics , and like other people here .... please remove the 2d marshals ;)

I have sometines a bug , tyrying to play versus another chrono , engine don't start and no options to drive. Re-try 2/3 times and it works.

Great comments, the new track is nice to drive and very fluid. I have the feeling that the track is a little to narrow. Also the view on different parts could be better. Thank you

Very tight narrow feeling track that is easy to overdrive (not a complaint love it). I do agree far left corner seems very small and hard to see. I also agree that turn marshals don't really need to be there and would help in far left corner. Great job to Pieter and the crew.

Also...the 2 thick white lines on the main straight are about 20mm in the air, and the lines that where the cars start from are 10mm in the air.
If the sections of the track (that are currently forming the track boundaries) are to be used in future for different configurations of track...they will need to be checked for height along all joins as there seems to be a height change on all of them.

Track seems fairly smooth throughout...apart from Pit Exit...very big change in height...and pit entrance...small change in height. This is going in normal direction...pit exit to right of rostrum.

The circuit is tricky and interesting, but the lane visually narrows a lot in the far corners. On the straight below the podium, there are ledges attached to the line that cause unnecessary accidents.

6:
rostrum height: we are working to make the far left corner better visible. Let's wait for that.

Is it possible to get the timing loop to be the lines on the back straight ? on full track at least !

( instead of at the end of pit wall )

Great technical track , having a drive in all views all the corners seem ok so far for corner cutting warmings !

Only problem I have come across is the join in pit wall grabs you like something sticking out if you happen to run wide!
