VRC race reporting
VRC PRO WORLDCHAMPION 2016 of 1:10 Nitrosedan spec class Melzo
Nitro sedan spec WORDLTITLE was solved at MELZO circuit in Italy. Allready from qualifying round it was pretty clear, who was man to chase in here. American Joshua Berman was looking very convincing from his first runs. Those under 21s laps were in target, and Joshua did this in perfect style. At semifinal round Berman gave a knock-out to others, hitting absolutely fantastic run and nobody couldnt answer that. Graham Raistrick was standing in second place heading for A-main, but even he didnt know how to gain Berman. Huhtala was in third and Saputra in fourth place.
VRC PRO 2016 WORLDCHAMPION 2016 JOSHUA BERMAN, USA
As the final started, Berman was everybodys target. But this 31 years old American didnt show no fear. He hitted fantastic run, and after 30minutes driving, he crossed the line over 8 seconds before Italian Ugo Calaprice. This WOLRDCHAMPION title was well deserved by Joshua, clean and fast run, that is how he got it. Congratulations to Joshua behalf of VRC!!
Man in second place, Italian ”Rocket”, Ugo Calaprice drove very nice final. He started from fifth grid, drove very stable and fast and secured his second place. In average laptimes he was one 10th slower than Joshua, so we can say that it was very well hitted from Ugo. Cheers Ugo!!
Italian "Rocket" Ugo Calaprice, was closest to challenge Berman
What would be race without Graham, Graham Raistrick. This Brit is very miliar in every race, not only by his name, also of his pace. Once again Graham was doing his normal things, fantastic pace and great consistency. In this event, he was two 10th`s from winners pace, and in 30minutes driving, it was 16 seconds at finishline. But we dont want to take anything away from Graham`s drive, he was one favourites to take the title, no doubt that. Congrats also to Graham!
Graham didnt get this easy, as youngster from Italy was pressuring him during the final. Enrico Tinaglia showed great pace and consistency and was very close to suprise Graham. When Enrico crossed the finishline, gap to Raistrick was only 3 seconds. Well done by this 16 years old youngster. Next time Enrico!
Raistrick was third, but Italian yougster Tinaglia didnt gave up easily
