Agreed Andrew :0) - also hold full throttle as you turn into Turn 2, release power just before mid corner, balance the drift with steering and get on full power as soon as you can with front wheels straight. Still working on Turn 1, but follow Jimmy Flack on various Oval Events if you get the chance. Practice all 'steering angles' to find your best compromise.

Use the front straight as an apex rather than pointing the car straight for a fast lap.
This sets you up much better for the sweeper.
It takes some time to develop the feel but has dropped 1/2 second off my laptimes.
As you exit turn 2 start tight on the inside and make one continuous arc towards the outside center of the straight, once mid staright arc back in toward the sweeper.
