SEASON 1 2016 ELECTRIC ISTC TOURINGCARS

PRO LEVEL

Hungarian talent Barnabas Toth has wonned ISTC TOURINGCARS serie in VRC PRO 2016 SEASON 1. He started his season from Luxembourg, where he allready at qualifying showed his remarkable speed, winning that one with seven seconds gap to Britains Graham Raistrick. Unfortunatelly we didnt see him at on the grid when race was arranged.
But no time, when next race was on, he was on fire again. In Italy, Messina track he had tight battle against Swedish driver Christian Holmström. He wonned the gualifying only with 0.5s ahead of Holmström. In race Holmström pressured Toth real hard but Hungarian was tougher, but only with one second.
At Volker track, Carpet 4, Toth got fight against Swedish Andre Fossto and USA driver Dana Bailes. Fossto was in second place after qualifying, 1.7s behind Toth. When race started, Bailes lifted his pace and got closest to Toth, but margin was over three seconds when race ended.
After three drived race, Toth had wonned those all and it was pretty clear that he would be favorite to take the season. But there was two more races to come. At Eppelheim 2 track at Germany, Polish driver Jakub Rozycki was giving Toth a hard time. Ok, Toth made almost four second mistake at gualifying and was in second grid when race was arranged. Rozycki wasnt an easy peace, this 19 years old talent had showed his pace also in other places where he had participated. But finally he had to surrender to Toth, Toth`s pace was so remarkable at Eppelheim and he wonned also that one, almost 4 seconds difference to Rozycki.
Final round was helded in Bangkok RCS short circuit. Swedish driver Fossto wonned the gualifying, but Toth had maded almost seven seconds mistakes during the gualy run and it was pretty obvious, that he would be the man to beat at race, if Fossto couldnt find any more pace. When race was ended, Toth came first to checkered flag and Fossto was in second place, three seconds behind.
Like this, Toth guaranteed his victory of the season. He deserved this one, so consistent he was during those races.
In final points table, French driver Arthur Brule got the second place, and third place went to Benjamin Lehmann from Germany. Brule drove also top spots at season, he participated in five races and lowest position came from Carpet 1 race, where he was in sixth position.
Lehmann`s season was also great, those races what were calculated to his points, he was in top5 in all those races.
