Each events has 3 rounds of racing:
QUALIFYING - Saturday 09:00 AM till Wednesday 08:30 AM* - all
SEMI FINALS - Wednesday 09:00 AM till Friday 08:30 AM - Top 80 per class
MAIN FINAL - Friday 09:00 AM till Monday 08:30 AM - Top 40 per class

2017 SEASON 1 RallyX spec ROUND 8 RALLY X2

Rally X2 track was hosting last race and season closer of RallyX spec serie. Drivers had found the way to tackle those demanding elevated curves and this looked good.

PRO level

In PRO level, Finnish Ilari Lamminsivu seemed to set the pace to others after two rounds and managed to get the pole for the main. Hong Kong`s laprobot Carson Yeung was standing at second place after semifinal, 10 seconds behind TQ driver. American Ely Rojas in third grid was tough opponent in here, as we knew that he was holding lap record almost every class at this track. So, was it ”hiding the speed” from Ely, main would give us an answer.
As the tone shouted for main, Rojas took lighting start and got the lead. But he made early mistake at lap 4 and dropped back of the pack. Lamminsivu and Yeung fighted at lead and Rojas start his furios way to top. And finally, his magnificent pace and consistency, he managed to catch Lamminsivu and Yeung. Rojas took convincing win and also he secured his win of the series. Lamminsivu had some struggles with rhytm and by these Yeung was able to stay close range. As they crossed the finishline, Lamminsivu was second and Yeung third. Gap was only 1.2 seconds.

SPORT level

In SPORT level we saw good race between Arturas Svoba and Sugizo K. Sugizo was going for the win, as he leaded this level from lap 2 to lap 17. But Svoba wasnt surrended, he was more consistent than Sugizo and passed him at lap 18. Svoba won this race with 1 second distance to Sugizo and secured his series win. Jim Merrits crossed the line in third place, 9 seconds behind winner. Jim had very good season, as he came second in the series.

CLUB level

CLUB level race was one man domination. French David Lalanne started and ended this season with style and took 4 wins of 7 races where he participated. Also in this season closer, nobody couldnt challenge, so great his pace was. He won this race with 10 seconds margin before Japan driver Masaya Kato. Kato had also guite steady position in second place, as third place driver David Diaz from USA, was 8 seconds behind when race ended.
