2017 SEASON 2 1:10 NITRO ONROAD SPEC ROUND 4 Pegaso Raceway Toluca
1:10 nitro onroad spec series 4th round event was raced at Pegaso circuit.
PRO level
At PRO level Massimiliano Tanturri was fastest at qualifying with average 18.075. Joshua Berman was in second spot, only 0.6 away from Tanturri`s pace. Graham Raistrick was third and J-P.Huhtala in fourth place. These all four drivers drove 24 laps and were all inside 1.4 seconds.
As the tone shouted for the main, race was very tight. Like qualifying showed, margins were expected to be really tiny and clean run was needed. Ok, everybody got some tiny struggles with corner cuttings, but especially top4 managed to stay out of big troubles.
After 20 minutes, Huhtala crossed the line in first position with average 18.038.
Berman was second, and gave huge pressure to Huhtala and was only 0.3 seconds behind when race ended. Tanturri got last podium place, 4.6 seconds behind the winner. Raistrickhad to settle to fourth place, 1.8 second behind Tanturri.

SPORT level
SPORT level race was two mans show. Isla Pesca and Steve Young served guite nice thriller.
After 27 laps, it looked that Pesca is getting away and this is going to be easily his final. He had better pace than Young and after 28 laps, gap was over 10 seconds. After refuel stops, gap was just over 8 seconds and Pesca start to struggle with his rhytm. Pesca did his mistake at lap 33 and this took 5 seconds. Now Young was only 5 seconds behind.
Five laps before finish, Young had done consistent and flawless run in second place and gained Pesca, who was leading only by 1.7 seconds. But Pesca hold his nerves, even Young was pushing really hard, Pesca managed to cross the line in first place.
Ange Meiss was third, he was one lap behind when 20 minutes final ended.

CLUB level
CLUB level race was Michael Zappa`s. Zappa drove good final and was on his own laps when race ended. Bovy Wibowo was second and Robert Dean third. Margins were counted in laps.
