Started off racing when I was 9 or 10 with my dad at Barr and Stroud Model car club in Glasgow first racing a Tamiya Falcon then moving on to a Kyosho Optima Mid Custom Special. I left the hobby when I was 13 or so but still messed around with R/C in various forms (Boats, Planes, Bikes and Tanks). I got back into cars and racing about a year ago when I impulse bought a Hobao Hyper 7 and upgraded it to race spec. Then I moved back to 1:10th electric at EK Model car club where I'm currently running a 1991 Yokomo Super Dogfighter and managing to hold my own despite using 20 year old technology. |
