Ive been playing with toy cars since the summer of 2011 and i can say i fell into the trap quickly. I used it as an escape from a trapped life in computer games. To get out of the house and meet some real people heh.
Race to the worlds in 2012 helped me a lot to build my skills within vrc. I went on to win a few regional races such as irocc speed weekend 2016 and rrr challenge 2016 in vancouver with nitro tc. Ive never had great luck with electric cars but id consider 1/12 to be my favourite class overall.
In 2017 i started to drive for team associated and won 2wd buggy at the 2018 big barn shootout. Being sponsored kinda ruined it all for me a bit though.
Presently i don't run for any teams. Back to what it should be. An old guy just playing with what he likes.
Though it pleases me IMMENSELY to be that guy to give the sponsored guys a hard time. Its worth the price of admission every time. |
