ELECTRIC 1:8 BUGGY
The electric 1:8 buggy is now released in 2 versions, the open or modified version which is full adjustable and has the powerful motors, and the Spec version with just a few setup options and 1450kV motor.
The modified electric 1:8 buggy is now available for all members who have an All-Inclusive membership. Free2Play members will have to wait November 12 until they can start racing with the electric buggy. The Spec buggy is available for ALL members immediately.
A special electric buggy forum topic has been created to provide feedback about the electric buggy.
DRIFTER CLASS
We have also released a new class: 1:10 electric Drift. This is now a special class which means that you can orgize races for this class and everybody has to use the special drift tires, so cheating with normal touringcar tires is no longer possible. On November 28th the 2015 VRC Worlds will kick off. First the Spec classes will be raced and later in December the open or modified classes.
For the first time in VRC history you will have the opportunity to vote on which track the 2015 VRC Worlds will be held in each of the classes, and also what format.
As before, the open and spec class will be raced on the same track. You can vote on whether the Spec classes will be raced in the opposite direction of the open class. Another question will be if the open classes should be raced in just 1 racer class, so everyone races in the same event. Spec class will be raced with 3 racer classes: Pro, Sport and Club.
You can vote for the Worlds tracks and the racfe format in our new polls. You can only cast your vote 1 time per poll. The results will be visible. Visit the Polls page here. There will also be links to the polls on the News page, the Forums page and on the Community page.

The long awaited and anticipated electric 1:8 4WD buggy will be released on Friday October 30! The release of the full-option version will be EXCLUSIVELY for our all-inclusive members, 2 weeks later the Free2Play members will get access to the new electric 1:8 buggy as well as we will then release the e-buggy expansion pack containing the new chassis, motors, bodies and other specific e-buggy components.
14.8V LiPo packs will be available to power the Tekin T8 motors which will come in 3 versions: 1900kV, 2150kV and a 2650kV motor. A line up of closed electric bodies completes the electric 1:8 buggy release.
The Spec version of the electric 1:8 buggy will be released on October 30 as well and will be available to ALL members for free as it will become part of the Free2Play package. However, as with all Spec models, the chassis set-up cannot be changed, and the motor is limited to a 1450kV motor in combination with a lower capacity battery pack.

*Some pitlanes had issues with the marshal point inside the pit lane. When your car was stuck against the track barrier in the pitlane and the marshal was initiated (with spacebar), the car would be placed back on the track and not to the actual pitstop area. The pitlane areas have been redefined to solve this issue.
New oval tracks:

- Keitune Oval
Together with the RC Speedway Oval course and Osaka oval we now have 4 outdoor oval tracks. These tracks will be used for next season NASCAR Truck Series!
