2017 SEASON 1 1:10 ELECTRIC TC 13.5T SPEC ROUND 1 CARPET 1
Xavier Deparde has won opening race of 1:10 ELECTRIC TC SPEC 13.5 serie. After semifinal, Deparde was standing at third place, behind Raistrick and TQ Wollanka.
But it was bit unfortunate, as we witnessed that Wollanka wasnt at the grid when Final was arranged. But we have lot of great talents to give us good entertainment.
Indonesian Hijrah Saputra took lightning start from fourth grid and took the lead. Ok, it was known that you had to be perfect to win and there was no room for mistakes.
Honestly, Saputra was really strong during his run, he leaded this group all the way to 17th lap when Deparde had gained him. Few hungry corner cuttings from Saputra allowed Deparde to close even more and pass. From this point Deparde didnt look back, and drove well deserved win. Great "never give up" style by Xavier!
Third podium place fight was also very enjoyable, as Graham Raistrick and Alexander Maisch competed really close range whole Final. This battle ended at last lap when Maisch passed Raistrick in last corners and got third place, but very tiny 0.172 distance to Raistrick.
PRO level podium
In SPORT level French Adri Antomarchi was strongest, he won this race with 0.86 distance to Britains Martin Wallace. Margin wasnt big, but it was enough.
Third place was driven by another Brit, Andrew Walters. Walters didnt get this easy either, as Russian driver Denis Lavrentyev was also very fast. Lavrentyev was in third place after 15 laps, but he made mistakes at lap 16 and 18 and this allowed Walters to pass him.
From this point Lavrentyev was little stronger, but it wasnt enough. Walters hold his nerves and was 0.038 seconds faster than Lavrentyev. Great defence from Andrew!
SPORT level podium
In CLUB level two Japan drivers Isla Pesca and Obata Hideki and Indonesian Mujib Rahman solved the podium places. Everybody had chances to win this, but Pesca crossed the line in first place, one second before Rahman. Obata Hideki in third place was 0.7 seconds from Rahman. Also from Japan, Ryusuke Yamaji was fourth. He had also his chances, but he have to settle to fourth, one second behind third place.
