2017 SEASON 1 1:10 ELECTRIC TC 13.5T SPEC ROUND 8 MB Models Raceway
Electric spec touring cars ended season 1 at MB Modells raceway. This track was one of the community favourites as track designs were voted. And no doubt, some likes and some hates it, but it is demanding, technical and needs very precise and good rhytm. Big thanks to Graham Raistrick bringing this fantastic track to contest.
So, last race of 1:10 electric spec series of SEASON 1, was held at this track and very same guys were in top like earlier season races. Bailes, Löb, Nedrebo, Yeung, Yanagisawa, Saputra and many others were in here and expectations for good race were high.
At PRO level Austrian Christoph Löb was fastest at qualifying round, leaving American Dana Bailes almost two seconds behind. Michitaka Yanagisawa from Japan was third fastest, but he was almost five seconds away from Löb`s ... read more

2017 SEASON 1 1:10 ELECTRIC TC 13.5T SPEC ROUND 6 CRF Lausanne
Technical and also demanding circuit of Lausanne was hosting 6th round of electric touring car series. At this track you had to be very precise with your lines and braking points, and also those curbs didnt give anything for free.
Spaniard Jhonny Hernandez earned the pole position from semifinals, Britain`s Reece Hodges was only 0.6s behind at second place and Austrian Christoph Löb in third position, with 5.7s gap to TQ.
When grid was arranged, it was bit unfortunent that Hernandez wasnt there and by this, all pressures moved to Hodges.
From the tone, Hodges was leading the group with very stable rhytm. First corner in 3rd lap, Hodges made hungry cutting and Xavier Deparde got the lead. Next four laps Deparde was setting the pace, but Hodges was furiosly chasing on his tale. At this point Mathias Nedrebo was in third and Dana Bailes at fo... read more

2017 SEASON 1 1:10 ELECTRIC TC 13.5T SPEC ROUND 5 CARPET JPH
Fifth round race of 1:10 electric tc spec 13.5 serie was raced at Carpet JPH circuit.
At PRO level we saw very intence and tight semifinal round as the first five drivers were inside one second. Austrian talent Christian Löb was fastest and took pole for the final. Dana Bailes got second grid, with 0.6s margin to Löb. Nedrebo and Saputra were third and fourth, 0.728 and 0.844 seconds behind pole winner. Britains Ben Gayson filled this pack and was fifth fastest, 0.862s behind Löb.
By these results we could expect anybody from this group to take this one, and also behind this group was five talents more. Carson Yeung at sixth grid wasnt easy opponent either, but he needed to find two 10th`s more pace, if he wanted to challenge those guys at front.
Dana Bailes and XRAY ride... read more

2017 SEASON 1 1:10 ELECTRIC TC 13.5T SPEC ROUND 4 CARPET 3
Carpet 3 circuit was hosting 4th round of 1:10 electric touring spec serie. French Xavier Deparde was holding serie lead after three rounds with full points and we just wanted to see, was there anybody, who could challenge this 36 years old onroad talent. Ok, at this event there was lot talents to do so, but with Xavier you have to be very precise, fast and consistent.
First two rounds of this event, qualifying and semifinal, went to Deparde, but we were glad that we had got some challenger who was driving very similar pace as Deparde.
Double Worldchampion Andrea Giordano was furios, and was half second behind Deparde at qualifying and gained his pace for the semi, losing only 0.026s to Deparde.
Norwegian Mathias Nedrebo was third fastest in semifinal, 4.1 behind Deparde.

2017 SEASON 1 1:10 ELECTRIC TC 13.5T SPEC ROUND 1 CARPET 1
Xavier Deparde has won opening race of 1:10 ELECTRIC TC SPEC 13.5 serie. After semifinal, Deparde was standing at third place, behind Raistrick and TQ Wollanka.
But it was bit unfortunate, as we witnessed that Wollanka wasnt at the grid when Final was arranged. But we have lot of great talents to give us good entertainment.
Indonesian Hijrah Saputra took lightning start from fourth grid and took the lead. Ok, it was known that you had to be perfect to win and there was no room for mistakes.
Honestly, Saputra was really strong during his run, he leaded this group all the way to 17th lap when Deparde had gained him. Few hungry corner cuttings from Saputra allowed Deparde to close even more and pass. From this point Deparde didnt look back, and drove well deserved win. Great "never give up" style by Xavier!
Third podium place fight was also very en... read more
