Round 1 of the 2016 1/8 E-Buggy season kicked off at Buenos Aires in what looks to be one of the most competitive classes to date. All the racers in the pro A main showed tremendous skill and patience and driving at a very competitive race pace. The top 4 drivers were only separated by 10.64 seconds at the end of the race and 5th place through 9th were separated by around 12 seconds. 1st through 4th finished with 17 laps and 5th through 9th finished with 16 laps. Needless to say the Pro A main was close and intense!
Dan Phillion stole the show in the end with consistent lines and excellent throttle control to hit each apex close and score the first victory of the season. Lap after lap Dan was clicking off 41 second laps with few mistakes and trying to hold off stiff competition from Johannes Lamprecht and Kuba Luczak. Dan M... read more

Round 2 of 2014 Season 2 saw a first time winner: Markku ‘THE DOCTOR’ Honkanen from Finland. Starting from the number 3 spot on the grid he had to battle with all the top-runners to finish some 4 seconds ahead of Candy in 2nd and Wollanka in 3rd. Candy had a bad start and wasted his 2nd spot on the grid completely being dead last at lap 1. With a late pitstop and some incredible driving he was able to clinch the lead in lap 11, but then started making mistakes. Also Wollanka suffered some serious crashes and wasn’t able to hold on to his early lead. Swedish off-road racer Tobias Isaksson also dropped back after leading the race in lap 8 and even saw US Kirby Backemeyer pass him for 4th.
The reversed direction for the Buenos Aires track was a tough ride for all but ‘THE DOCTOR’ drove an impeccable race with surgical precision.

2013 VRC World Champion Martin Wollanka has added another win to his laurels by winning with a 5 seconds margin over Neil Cragg from the UK and another 3 seconds on Rick Redmin from the US.
After a turbulent start start Martin took the lead in lap 5 and never looked back. The fight for 2nd was fierce, especially between the 2 French racers Loriot and Le Gall. A bad crash in lap 11 put Le Gall back to 6th and a few more mistakes kept him in that position. Young Nicolas Loriot was also pushing hard to get a podium finish but he came just over a second short.
The big fight was between Neil Cragg and Rick Redmin, a bad crash of Rick in lap 25 finished his quest for 2nd. Neil Cragg had an up and down race after dropping back to 6th early on, but his steady and fast driving got him b... read more

We are just getting started, 2014 has many new surprises, great competition and new racers coming to contest for world series titles.
Pro class A Main Event
The Horn Sounds, “and were off to the races” Kirby Backemeyer dropped the hammer right off the start and propelled his Proline Topped Team Associated SC10 the front of the pack. It was however short lived as Jerome dJay Delcourt began to smooth out and check out. Antoine “Frosty” Rosetti, an early favorite found the pressure to be too much as he performed a perfect lid slide down the back side of the concrete turn table. And this is just the first half of the first lap. First place was set but second through seventh was a battle Royall. Kirby was sitting pretty in second place, they say slow and steady wins the race but slow and steady is in the “S” main this is the A-Main baby and you need to find the fine line between fast and dis... read more
