2016 Season 1 and round 2, Orlando Indoor
After start round from Bangkok, it was time these drivers to gather to Orlando. This track is located at Snowbird Hot Rod Hotel in Orlando. Few drivers who joined that season start, were missing. Also first round winner Billy Caley wasn’t at participants list. But like we have used to it, we got enough top drivers to give us a thrilling race. Bailes, Hasegawa, Raistrick, Yeung were few of those to watch.
QUALIFYING
Qualifying showed also magnificent speed but also, unfortunately many mistakes, also from these top drivers. Hasegawa took TQ only 0.19seconds gap to Raistrick. Hasegawa made one bigger mistake and it took about 3seconds away from his result. 2016 Season 1 and round 2, Orlando Indoor
After start of the season from Bangkok, racers traveled to Orlando. This technical track is located at the Snowbird Hot Rod hotel in Orlandao. Many drivers who raced at season start at Bangkok had passed this race, reason we do not know but there was enough gladiators to give us a good race. At qualifying it looked that its going to be two mans deal, who would take the TQ. Bailes once again was on fire, Raistrick with 4seconds difference at second place. Danas average lap was 10.4, Graham`s one 10th slower. Third place went to Hong Kongs Carson Yeung, he was one lap down from leader.

PRO CLASS
Austrian Martin Wollanka has finally won a VRC World Championship. On the testing Orlando Snowbirds track he outclassed a field of 76 Pro racers (total 264 participants) with a stunning 50 laps in 8 minutes flat. In his WC title run he recorded just 2 encounters with the unforgiving boarding which is remarkable given the cornering speed these tiny cars produce. With this victory Wollanka has once more demonstrated his incredible r/c racing talent in all classes of r/c. Hungarian Barnabas Toth had to settle for second after closing the cap to just 1.3 seconds in lap 25 but a hard crash in lap 42 ended his quest for the 2013 title. Dana Bailes from the US who had dominated the 2013 season in 1:12 racing had an early crash in lap 5 and fought an uphill battle all race long. Following up on a long promise we are now ready to present you the 2013 Virtual Snowbird Nationals. Probably you couldn’t make it to the real Snowbirds but this is your chance to race on the same track with racers from around the world.
Two brand new tracks are about to be released for this major r/c event of the year. Some 700 racers gather in the Snowbird Hot Rod hotel in Orlando - Florida for this annual happening, and this world renowned event will now have its virtual edition in VRC Pro.
Three events will be organized on the road course, another 3 events on the oval course, including for the first time an event for NASCAR trucks! The events for the spec chassis will be restricted to racer level 5 to keep the Pro’s (level 6) out…
